Meet the owner
Dr. Ami earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan, after a Health Sciences degree at the University of Iowa. For her, dentistry is about building confidence and trust, and the best part is the long relationships she forms with her patients.
Dr. Ami works alongside a board-certified periodontist and associate dentists, so gum treatment, implants and oral surgery can happen in an office you already know and trust.
A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, with a Master's in Oral Biology from research on how bone attaches to implant surfaces. Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

CEREC & technology
Crowns made in an outside lab often fit poorly and mean a second visit. Dr. Ami uses CEREC to design and mill yours in the office, with no temporary crown in between.

Great dental care should never depend on financial limits. We file claims with your insurance, and if you have none, we have a plan of our own.

We are happy to file claims with your insurance, and we will talk you through what your plan covers before any treatment, so there is never a surprise bill. No insurance? Ask about our Optimal Wellness Plan: cleanings, x-rays and exams are 100% covered in our office, with savings on fillings, crowns and cosmetic dentistry.
Tell us when you book. We explain everything on a screen before we start, use advanced topical anesthetics for soft-tissue work, and offer laser dentistry for faster treatment and healing. Noise-canceling headphones, dark glasses, blankets and pillows are yours to ask for.
Usually, yes. With CEREC we scan the tooth digitally, design the crown and mill it in the office, so you go from diagnosis to walking out with your new crown in place the same day. No temporary crown and no waxy impressions.
The consultation is free, so it costs nothing to find out. If you are a good candidate we take detailed photographs and x-rays to plan the movement, and you can see the expected result before you start. Treatment usually takes 6 to 18 months.
Please arrive fifteen minutes early. Bring your insurance ID card, a photo ID and a list of any medications with their dosage. Anyone under eighteen needs a parent or guardian with them, and if you have recent x-rays elsewhere, ask that office to release them to us beforehand.
An in-office consultation ($140) with a thorough examination and a conversation about what you want to change. From there we take digital scans and photographs to design your smile, and temporaries let you preview it before the final veneers are made.
